  • DEATH OF MRS. WHITTAKER.

At the early age of 26 years, Mrs. Olive Grace Whittaker, wife of Mr. Thos. Whittaker, of Whylandra, passed away on Tuesday, death being due to pneumonia. Deceased was a daughter of Mr. William Sunderland, and was born in the district. Here, too, she had lived nearly all her all-too-short life, which had been one of the gentlest and most useful. The deceased was most happily married and the bereaved husband is left with four little ones. There is general mourning in the Rawsonville district, and the wave of sympathy for the bereaved ones extends over a very large part of the west. The funeral yesterday was very largely attended, and there were many tangible tokens of love for the deceased placed on the casket containing her mortal remains. Mr. E. Carrett made the funeral arrangements. Dubbo Dispatch and Wellington Independent (NSW : 1887 - 1932)Friday 22 April 1921 - Page 1
