Jean Baptiste Suret was born 23 Apr 1741. He was the son of Joseph Surette and Marguerite Theriot. He was baptized 28 Apr 1741 at Saint Charles des Mines, Grand-Pré, Acadia. His godparents were Jean Baptiste Terriot and Marguerite Leblanc.[1]
