Eugenie (Surette) LeBlanc is a descendant of an Acadian

Marie Eugenie Surette was the daughter of Elzear Surette and Leonice Surette.[1]
She was born in 1898[2] in Surette's Island, Nova Scotia.[3]
She married Joseph Arthur LeBlanc, the son of Augustin Justin LeBlanc and Elizabeth Pothier, on December 29, 1920 at Amirault's Hill, Nova Scotia.[3]
The couple had 5 children[1]:

1. Marie Anne Louise born in 1922[1]
2. Rose Edith born in 1923[1]
3. Joseph Richard born in 1924[1]
4. Paul Andre born in 1926[1]
5. Elizabeth Leonice born in 1928[1]

Marie Eugenie died January 15, 1977[1][4], and her funeral was held January 19, 1977 at St. Michael's in Wedgeport, Nova Scotia.[1]
She was buried at St. Michael's Cemetery in Wedgeport.[2]
