Madeleine (Surette) LeBlanc is a descendant of an Acadian

Marie Madeleine Surette was the daughter of Charles Henri Surette and Jeanne Elizabeth Pothier.[1]
She was born November 7, 1915 in Wedgeport, Nova Scotia, and was baptised November 14, 1915 at St. Michael's in Wedgeport.[2]
She grew up in the family home located on the East Road in Wedgeport.[3]
She married twice.
Her first marriage was to Charles Every Cottreau, the son of Charles Angus Cottreau and Rose Evelinie Surette, on June 29, 1942 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.[4]
Her second marriage was to Leopold LeBlanc, the son of Jeremie LeBlanc and Rose Pothier, on August 24, 1963 at St. Michael's.[2]
Marie Madeleine died January 8, 1987[2], and her funeral was held January 10, 1987 at St. Michael's.[2]
She was buried at St. Michael's Cemetery: Section A, Row 10, Marker 104.[5]
