Jean Baptiste Surette was born in June, 1761 in Halifax, Colony of Nova Scotia, son of Paul Surette and Marie Josephe Landry. [1] He was baptized on 20 July 1768 in Halifax. [2][3]
Jean Baptiste Suret, age 82, widower of Judith Hébert, died on 18 October 1841 and was buried at Cocagne. The funeral was on 24 October 1841.[4][5]
