Joseph was the husband of Marie Eulalie (Lecuyer) Surprenant — married 2 Mar 1778 in St-Jean-Francois-Regis (St-Philippe).

He is the father of Desanges (Surprenant) Achin and Joseph Surprenant.

Joseph Surprenant died 13 Dec 1817 in Longueuil, Quebec. [1]

Surprenant-150 and Surprenant-116 appear to represent the same person because: Both have same birth dates, same locations, same spouse, but the death dates need to be looked at before merging please.
