Biography
When Caroline Isabel Surtees was born in 1848 in Little Munden, Hertfordshire, her father, Henry, was 29, and her mother, Eliza Snell Chauncy, was 28.
She married Richard Horner Paget on 13 November 1866 in Hertfordshire.
They had six children in 12 years.
She died on 29 July 1946 in Hove, Sussex, at the age of 98.
