Frank Susep served in the Union Army during the US Civil War. He was a Private in Company G of the 1st Regiment, Maine Veteran Infantry and as a Private in Company G of the 7th Regiment, Maine Infantry. His wife Tellus Cockalexis was the beneficiary of Susep's pension.
