"All the gods, all the heavens, all the hells, are within you."
After growing up in two countries, USA and Canada, 20 years in the Army traveling the world, nearly 4 decades as a broadcaster, 20 of those in the Army, the people you get to meet, Presidents and First Ladies, flying on Air Force One with President Bill Clinton, what a trip.
After more than 60 years of life, I've done some stuff and seen a lot and Im only getting started. And I've been sharing it with a very special lady who has been by my side for the entire trip. And my two sons have been there too.
I guess I'm the Family Historian. Just walk into the job in 2013. History fascinates me. The more I dig the better it gets.
My mother passed away in 2015 and I've been really digging into her side of the family. I have found direct ancestral links from me to William Ward, Thomas Hapgood, Nathaniel Treadway, and John Howe just to name a few.
My father passed away on May 26, 2017. His side of the family is the real mystery. I've been able to trace his line back to where his father was born in Posusje, Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is where the mystery begins.
My great grandparents were early settlers of the New England area back when the migration was taking place in the early 1600's.
I love history and this story can only get better.
