Biography
John Sutcliffe was born in February 1792 at Stile in Stansfield, Yorkshire, England according to the record of him registering his children with at the Rehoboth Chapel in the 1830s[1][2]. His father was Unknown Sutcliffe[3].
He married Sally Unknown in 1810[4]. Together they had two children:

Residences
John was a shopkeeper on the baptism records of some of his children, living at Wood Shade and later Wadsworth Mill, both in Todmorden, Lancashire.
On 25 May 1817 his son Henry was christened at Heptonstall, Yorkshire, England, United Kingdom[6].
In 1841 he was living at Wadsworth Mill, Rochdale, Lancashire, England with his wife and seven children[7].
Research notes
It was thought initially this profile might duplicate Sutcliffe-355, but there was no overlapping information to confirm or deny this hypothesis, (the death date was not noticed). There is one item on the 1841 census pointing to a reject in that he was marked as "not born in this county". Later it was realised that Sutcliffe-355 died aged 1 whereas Sutcliffe-749 married and had children. So not a match. JG Weston April 2023.
