Emma was born in 1845 In England to to Thomas Souter and Harriet Souter (born Lambern).[1]

Emma Suter and William migrated to New Zealand on the ship Percy which departed Gravesend on the 27th August 1865 and arrived in the Port of Auckland on 30th December, 1865 after a passage of 123 days.

Emma and William raised a large family together.

Emma passed away in 1886 in New Zealand.

Jessie Evans. Jessie was born on the 15th of October,1870 and married William Evans on the 2nd of September,1903. William was the nephew of Bombay passengers Henry and James. William’s parents Emma Suter and William Snr had travelled later on the ship Percy, arriving into Auckland on the 30th of December,1865.

The London immigrant ship Percy, 919 tons, departed Gravesend 27th August 1865 and arrived Port of Auckland on 30th December, 1865 after a protracted passage of 123 days. She brings 14 saloon, 7 second cabin and 72 steerage passengers, who all have arrived in good health, in medical charge of Dr. Shoolbraid.
