Edward Christian Sutherland is a member of Clan Sutherland.

Eduward Christiaan was born in Deventer on 2 April 1827. He was the son of Daniel Sutherland and Johanna Maria Margretha Bernhardt. ^[1] (Maneschijn-1 08:36, 24 February 2022 (UTC))

Edward served in the Mexican war with his father Daniel. Daniel age 49 died in Vera Cruz Mexico. After the war, in 1850 census Edward is seen living with his Mother and siblings in ward 3 New Orleans Louisiana. He was 22 years old.

Married Catherine Mather possibly 1850.

John Sutherland Jr

Edward Christian Sutherland was born about 1827. After the war, in 1950 census Edward would have been 123 years old. It wasn't likely that he married in 1950. These are probably typos!?
