Biography

Eli lived in Floyd County, Virginia as a farmer for most of his life, although he was living in Girard Township, Macoupin County, Illinois with his wife and some of his children (Silas, a coal miner, and Elijah) along with his sister, Martha (b. May 1836) according to the 1900 Macoupin, IL Census.

Eli is buried in Topeco Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Floyd County, VA
