Biography
Barclay was born in 1888. He entered the Royal Military College at Sandhurst in Jan 1908 and a year later was commissioned into the Indian Army. In Sept 1915 he was promoted to Captain. Later he left the Indian Army and went to Edinburgh to study Medicine and spent the rest of his life as a doctor. He married Lena Howard Sutton (23) in 1931 and they had three children: Heather Constance (1933), Anthony Edward (1935) and Lena Rosemary (1939). He died in Poole in 1963. Lena died at St Albans in Nov 1998.
