Fanny was born in 1855^[1] at Pedlinge {hamlet outside Saltwood}, Kent, England and baptised on the 17th June 1855 at Ss. Peter & Paul, Saltwood, Kent, England, the daughter of Samuel Sutton (Farmer) and Eliza Sutton of Pedlinge^[2]
