Violet (Sutton) Hubbard was born in Surrey, England.

Violet Isabel Sutton was born in the September of 1896 in Croydon, Surrey England. Her birth was registered in the 4th quarter (Oct-Nov-Dec) of 1896.^[1] She was the daughter of Edmund Sutton and Ada Payton.

Emigration-Immigration

She arrived in Canada on September 30, 1909. She travelled on the ship the Empress of Britain, as she was about 11 years of age she was too young to be travelling alone. The image of the record shows an older woman her name has been transcribed as Arc but viewing image the first name is Ada and there are a number of possible siblings with whom she travelled. She is believed to have disembarked at Quebec City, Quebec, Canada^[2]

Marriage

She married Arthur Hubbard in Jun 1920 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Death

She passed away in 1974.
