Details are a result of research my uncle did in the 1980s including correspondence with relatives in Norway. I have copies of the handwritten letters and some copies of church documents I am working to digitize and upload as source material.[1]
Ingeborg (born around 1812[2] in Norway) married Johan Mathias Magnussen Søberg at the age of 24 years old on 4 Dec 1840 at Vestre Moland Church.[3] Together, they had six (6) children – 3 boys and 3 girls:: Saldor Mathinius Søberg (born 30 Mar 1841); Christopher Thorald Søberg (born 21 Nov 1842); Mathilde Sophie Søberg (born 26 Nov 1844); Jorgen Christian Søberg (born 19 Jul 1847); Josephine Marie Søberg (born 7 Mar 1849); and Amalia Søberg (born 28 Apr 1851).[4]
