England, Select Births and Christenings show a baptism date as June 23rd 1725 [4] in Marsh Chapel, Lincolnshire, England, for William Swaby, but this probably is for his brother, William, who died as an infant.
- William married Elizabeth Porcas on May 14th 1747 in Marsh Chapel, Lincolnshire, England [5] [6]. Elizabeth bore William 6 children, 3 boys and 3 girls, Thomas (1748), James (1750), Ellen (1752), Eleanor (1759), Mary (1760), and William (1762).
