Mary was born about 1796. She was the daughter of William Swain. She passed away after 1843.
She married a man named William Spicer, who died before 1842.
I Peter Park, Register for the Probate of Wills and granting Letters of Administration in and for Sussex County, John Swain Administrator of Rebecca Swain, Late of the County afsaid deceased, Represents that the said Rebecca Swain, who died intestate, left to survive her as heirs at law the following children. To wit: John Swain, Mary Spicer, wife of Wm Spicer, now deceased, Rebecca Smith, wife of Job Smith who is also dec’d, William Swain, Ann McColley, Kendell Swain and the heirs of Joseph Swain, dec’d and whereas the said administrator having fully administered the Estate of the Estate of the said Dec’d according to the very right of the matter and the law of the Land, ahd whereas there is an unapportioned balance remaining in his hands of $42.44 ½, he therefore presents the following distributive account of said balance to and among the heirs of said dec’d for Examination and Adjustments.
