Biography

Frank was born in 1858. He was the son of George Swain and Leah Spicer.

He married Emma Jane Capehart in 1889. They had at least one child: Addie C., born October of 1889.

As of 1900, Frank was a Farmer, living in Sussex County, Delaware.

He died in Chester, N.J., in 1932:

”Frank Swain Dies of Heart Trouble
”Brother Had Died of similar Illness Two Weeks Ago
”MILFORD, Dec 1 – Just two weeks to a day after the death of his only brother, Frank Swain died at his home in Chester, N.J., Tuesday.
His brother, Elmer U. Swain, of near Milford, died of heart trouble two weeks previous. Frank Swain, 72, died in the same way Tuesday morning.
Both of these men spent most of their lives near Milford and are well known in this community
The body of Mr. Swain was brought from Chester, N.J., to Milford today.”
