Biography

Mary was born in 1824 in New York. Her parents were perhaps Horace Swain (1790-1855) and Kiziah Lucinda Miller (1783-1850) (from Ancestry suggestions, unconfirmed).

She married Peter Smith Marsh and they had the following children, per FS:

Charles R. Marsh

Horace Marsh

Angeline Augusta Marsh

Peter J. Marsh

Alice Marsh

Hattie Mae Marsh

The older children were born in New York; Hattie Mae was born in Indiana. Later, she and her husband relocated to Kansas.

She passed away in 1884.
