Trooper 36th Reinforcements, Mounted Rifles Brigade New Zealand Expeditionary Force

Buried in Winton Cemetery, Southland PLOT 39 Old Survey Block II

Inscription: 54168 TPR J. Swale 36th Reinforcements Died 7-4-1918. Aged 40.

In Loving Memory of Ralph Swale Who died at Meadow-bank on Aug. 1st 1898, Aged 63 years. Also his wife Jane Bonar Who died 24th May 1917, Aged 79 years. Also their youngest son James Died 7th April 1918, Aged 40 years.
