Biography
Aline Ivy Swales birth is recorded in the New Zealand birth index in 1888[1]. Aline was living at 4 Caroline St, Ponsonby on 1911 Electoral Roll (her parents address). She married Frank Harvey when she was 26 years old[2] , and gave birth to their son Allan Burdett Harvey on 7 July 1917. While Frank went overseas to the Great War, Aline returned to her parents. Aline's parents were still at Caroline Street in 1925 (Electoral Roll). Aline passed away in 1976 [3].
