Biography
Harry was born on 26 July 1918. He was the son of Harry Evelyn Swales and Olive Miriam Essery.
Sadly his father Harry died on 15 November 1918 at the age of 36. Harry, his mother and siblings moved to the Berea region, Durban after his father's death.
His brother John died on 12 March 1936 in a motorbike accident. Then his only other brother Edwin, was killed in the 2nd World War.
27 year old Harry married 23 year old Myra Hope Moorhouse on 22 June 1946 at Pietermaritzburg, Natal, after Banns[1].
He probably passed away in about 1994.
