Samuel, the tenth son and youngest of eleven children of Thomas Swan and Elizabeth Bosworth was born on 18 October 1801 at Bristol, Rhode Island.[1]
Marriage and Children
Samuel married Hannah Gifford (1806-1883), the daughter of Ephraim and Ruth (Hall) Gifford on 9 February 1823 at Bristol, Rhode Island.[2]They had six children born at Bristol, Rhode Island:
