Asa Swan was born to Robert Swan (1657-1747) and Elizabeth (Story) Swan at Haverhill, Massachusetts Bay Colony on 27 Nov 1687 [1].
Asa Swan married first, Deborah Osgood of Andover in Charlestown on 29 January 1716-7. The record reads: "These may inform [w]home it may concern that Asie Swan of Haverhill and Mrs Debora Osgood of Andover wear maryed in Charlstown the 29 day of January 1716/17 by me Joseph Lynds Justes of peace in the province of Massachusets."[2] They had declared their intentions in Andover on 5 Dec 1716.[3][4] Asa and Deborah settled in the part of Haverhill that became Methuen in 1725. Deborah Osgood Swan died in Methuen 30 Jan 1724-5,[5] the day after the birth of their daughter Elizabeth.
Asa married second, Lucy Austen of Andover, in Methuen on 6 Feb 1734-5 [6] Lucy Austen Swan Died the 10 day of june in the year 1764 and in the 59 year of her age.[7] Asa Swan died in Methuen on 14 Jan 1766 in his 78th year, about a year and a half after Luce's death. [8] It is ironic that Asa, who had been the Methuen Town Clerk for almost thirty years, died intestate on 14 Jan 1766. Probate was filed on 6 May 1766.[9].

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Asie by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Asie:

If you could merge to "Swan" which seems to really be the correct LNAB, then it would reduce future duplicates, maybe?
