Biography

Katherine was born Dec. 31, 1880. She was the daughter of William Swan and Anna Reeder. She passed away March 27, 1964 per attached obituary. Funeral was in Alexandria. Buried in Ivy Hill cemetery. Tombstone states her birth date as 1881. Buried with her husband and daughter.

Delaware vital records verified her birth and death date and parents. She is buried in Ivy Hill Cemetery in Alexandria. In 1900 census with her parents and siblings. Age 18, born Dec. 1881.

In 1930 census in D.C. Age 47, living with her husband and two children, Catherine G., age 21 and Carlton L., Age 17. Last name is wrong - Grymes. Both men are clerks at the railroad.
