Biography

Daughter of Captain Richard Swann R.N. and Dorothy Danvers his wife and sister of Damaris Swann, who married Robert Boyle of Wellesbourne, Warwickshire, whose son was Richard Boyle Rector of Berkswell, Warwickshire.

Monument erected in 1721 by Richard Graves at St Lawrence's church, Mickleton ^[1]

JOHN GRAVES of Beamesley in Yorkrh Gent of the family of Grave of Heyton in that County who mard the dhr of Mensier. He died at Lond 1616 aged near 103. was bur at S. Martin S Ludgate.

Eliz.1713.æt.96 And he & Eliz were bur. at Clarkenwell & Elnr at Richmond,

SAM GRAVES S & Hr of R Ld of this Manr who by Sus dr & cohr of Capt Ri Swann & Dor Danvers his Wife S of Capt. Ri Swan sen.by Damaris dr & coh of Capt Andr Shilling, had Issue 6.sons & 3dr. He died 1708 æt 59 & she 1719 æt 68 & were both bur here.

RICH GRAVES, S & Hr of S who mard Eliz dr & ch of Capt .Th Morgan ,by Eliz.dr & Cohr of Ia Brayne Gent caused this Monument to be here erected in 1721 Who also hath had 3 sons bur here, viz.Richd who died 1710. Saml 1712 & Saml a Twin, 1719 all in their infancy.
