From the memories of Lillian Swanner
Leroy worked for a firm that made batteries. After he suffered a bout of lead poisoning, he left there and went to work at Weiskittle Co. that made bathtubs and stoves. He married a girl named Anna Meisenhelder who lived on the next street. They had one daughter. When he was twenty-eight years old, he was killed when a gun he was cleaning, after hunting, fired accidentally and struck him in the head.
