The little girl, who was ten years of age, was sliding down a straw stack when a forked stick, which was used for pulling out straw, ran into her stomach so forcibly that it took several hours to remove it. She was a faithful attendant of the Joppa Sunday School, and was highly esteemed. She was buried from the residence of her sister, Mrs. Henry Gabler, near Joppa, on Sunday, the interment being made at the Mountain Christian Church. Rev. J. A.
