"A week ago last Friday the Boy's Debating club met in solemn conclave to discuss matters of vital interest to the organization. In order that the boys might have a better supply of oxygen for their oratorical attempts, the august body discussed the question of holding their meetings in the evening. To make things more interesting there will be a debate every two weeks with parliamentary practice and a mock trial thrown in occasionally. The subject for debate for the third week n March will be, "Resolved, that the United States Should Increase Its Navy." Evert Swanson, Geo. Mahood and Lloyd Smith will support the affirmative, while John Senti, John Brady and James Alderman the negative."[1]
