His address was Buford, Georgia and he was a minister of the Gospel. His nearest relative was Mrs. Emma Swanson of Buford. He was medium height and medium build with blue eyes and light hair as seen in this image of the original form.^[2]

He was noted as born 1883 in North Carolina and married. He was a renter and a school teacher (public school) as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Susie Swanson, daughter Claudine Swanson, son Cordell Swanson, son Jay T Swanson, daughter Corrine Swanson, daughter Ruth Swanson and son Paul Swanson.^[3]
