Biography
Ruth Swanson was enumerated as daughter of the head of household at Sugar Hill, Gwinnett County, Georgia for the January 20, United States Census, 1920. She was noted as born 1914 in Georgia and single as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head James T Swanson, wife Susie Swanson, daughter Claudine Swanson, son Cordell Swanson, son Jay T Swanson, daughter Corrine Swanson and son Paul Swanson.[1]

Ruth Swanson Cates is buried at Yellow River Baptist Church Cemetery in Lilburn, Gwinnett County, Georgia.[2]
