• Find recommended profile formats and tips on writing biographies.

• Use Free Space Profiles to describe things like events, heirlooms and locations.

• Read about our process for resolving situations with unresponsive profile managers.

Hi Sandra,

Thanks for your message providing information about your family. There are 1039 Swart profiles in WikiTree. I assume you wish to use WikiTree to research and document your family history. I have found WikiTree to be an excellent tool for research and collaboration.

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add Profiles to WikiTree. Once you entered your family members it is exciting to see other people finding your family profiles, asking questions, and expanding it.

If you need any help getting started check out the help section from the menu, top left, or head over to the G2G forum, or you might want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.
