Roeloff Swartwout died young.

Roelof was baptized in the Reformed Dutch Church of Kingston, New York, on 4 February 1683, recorded as the child of Thomas Swartwout and Lysbet Jacobz Hovenier.

He is presumed to have died before 24 February 1689, when his parents gave the name "Roulof" to another son.
