As per your comments of your Family line from Barnabas Swazey to Benjamin and so forth makes sense. Your family goes down the line of Benjamin Swayze, and mine goes down from Barnabas Swayze Jr. Both of them are brothers, and therefore share all of the listed siblings generated by Barnabas Swazey.
I have also submitted a suggested merge for my Barnabas Swayze-397 into your Barnabas Swayze-288. Please have a look at it, and process when you get a chance.
One of the biggest confusions which I am having with these two generations, are the names of the wives are showing up on numerous husbands.
Thanks,
John Sweazey
I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Participation in a project is strongly encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles. Be sure to also check out our Volunteer Hub to see our projects that really need new members! Join the UEL Project to collaborate. Ask a question or post a message for the group using the "Ask Question" button here. It will post a message in the G2G forum with the UEL tag so that those following the tag will see it. Let me know, and I can help you figure out if there's a project that might interest you. Welcome aboard, we are glad to have you! Lee - Volunteer Coordinator
The central hub where we share ideas and answer questions is our G2G Forum. It is here you will find the Question of the Week: What do you do with unidentified photos? You may also search for topics of interest and introduce yourself with a post about an ancestor you are researching.
There are numerous ways you may get involved at WikiTree. See the Volunteers Needed page for more information on projects you can contribute to.
Thanks for volunteering and enjoy the journey. --Rod
Welcome to the WikiTree family!
WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, which means that all members work together as a single collaborative team. The Honor Code helps keep everything functioning smoothly as we work on one BIG tree.
The initial email from us has links you can use to get started. When you confirm your email address, you'll have an option to volunteer to add information to WikiTree, beginning with tags for your own profile. Tags are surnames, locations, concepts, etc. that you'd like to track.
If you decide to volunteer, a greeter will confirm your membership, and you'll be able to add new profiles to the tree.

P.S. I'm always happy to answer questions.
