Biography
Benjamin was born about 1786 to D Swazy and his wife B.
Benjamin was a laborer.
In 1850 he was residing in Washington Township, Morris County, New Jersey [1].
He died 1857 March 9th in Washington Township [2] His memorial is next to his wife's in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery and is inscribed:
our father Benjamin Swayze died March 9 1857 aged 71 yrs 1 mo & 1 ds (verse) [3]
