Mary and Joseph were the grandparents of Reverend Samuel Swayze and his brother Richard Swayze who led their families and a number of the members of the Congregational Church in New Jersey to settle near Natchez, Mississippi in British West Florida in 1773. They became known as the Jersey Settlers.
Joseph married Mary Betts, (daughter of Capt. Richard, of Newtown). [1] These are their known children:
Joseph passed away about 1734. He was hurried at Old Bethany Cemetery in Mattatuck, Suffolk, Long Island, NY.

I think it is questionable though as his father sold his house in Salem in 1652. .
I do realize that this source has some reliability issues...
