Biography

Thomas was born in 1812. He is the son of John Swearingen and Sarah Hunter. In 1850 Thomas is enumerated on the federal census in the Yalobusha County, Mississippi household of his parents. [1] Also in the household are Thomas's wife and four children. Though his wife's name was Letitia on the census she is referred to as Delila. Thomas died in 1858. [2]
