In 1910, John and his wife were living in Newport, Rhode Island. They had five sons and one daughter. John's father-in-law, Daniel Wetherell, was also in the household. [3]
In 1920, John and Bertha were still in Newport (Ward 5), Rhode Island. It is possible John's father-in-law, had passed on as he was not seen in the household during this census. Only 3 sons and one daughter remained in the household. [4]
By 1930, John was a grandfather. John and his wife were still residing in Newport. Two sons, a daughter-in-law, and two grand daughters were living in the household. John was 56-years-old by this time and it was incorrectly noted on the census that he was born in Wales. [5]
John passed away in on 26th August 1938. His death was registered in Newport, Newport, Rhode Island, United States. [6]
Marriage confirms parents named in bio, and baptism confirmed their names, also.
Note that also the birth location of Wales was wrong. That was an assumption pulled through the GEDCOM apparently derived from a census record, which was incorrect.
