Thomas O. Sweet died yesterday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Blanche Jones, on Friday avenue, aged 69 years. Mr. Sweet leaves three daughters, Mesdames Blanche Jones, Grace Jones and Della Wintermute, and two sons, Edward and Oscar; all are residents of this city. In these families six deaths have occured in the past five years. Mr. Sweet was a member of the Tribe of Ben Hur. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at Maulsby's chapel at 2 o'clock Rev. O.H. King officiating. Interment will take place in the family lot in the G.A.R. cemetery.
