Biography

Susannah was the daughter of John and Lydia Whaley Sweet who married Thomas Grennell. Susannah was mentioned in her father's will (Susa) in 1744, and her mother's will (Susanah Grinnel) in 1754. Susannah and Thomas were the parents of at least two children. [1]

At a meeting of the North Kingstown Council, John Sweet appeared on behalf of his daughter, Susanah Grennell and her two children and agreed to take them into his home. [2]

In 1736, Susannah and Thomas , of East Greenwich, sold for £120 to John Manchester, yeoman, ten acres of homestead farm at East Greenwich. The deed was signed 26 January 1736-37 and witnessed by Benjamin Briggs and Francis Briggs.[3]

Thomas died 1744. [4]Susannah's date of death is unknown.

Sweet-2900 and Sweet-242 do not represent the same person because: I proposed this merger in haste, it appears that the Susannah's in question are two separate people. The Susannah who was the daughter of John Sweet and Lydia Whaley married a Thomas Grennell. This can't be the same person who married Joseph Draper. I apologize for proposing the merge.
