Amy was the daughter of Samuel Thomas Sweet and Sarah Babcock. She married Robert Wever. Their children were:
- Samuel Melvin Wever 1819–1893
- Joseph Langford Wever 1824 - 1905
- Amy M. Wever 1827–1852
The family lived in Ephratah, Fulton, New York.[1] Amy died in 1880 and is buried in Rockwood Cemetery, Rockwood, Fulton County, New York.[2]
