Miranda appears in the 1850 census with her parents.
She is mentioned as a child or Lorany Rowena Tryon in the Woodwaugh Tryon genealogy, and as having married a Nelson Fuller.[1]
Research Notes
There is evidence that the "Nelson Fuller" mentioned as MIranda's husband in the Woodwaugh Tryon genealogy was actually named George Nelson Fuller, b abt 1831 in NY. He appears in the 1860 census in Bangor, Franklin Co., NY with wife Maranda aged 24, giving her a birth year of about 1836, two small children (indicating a recent marriage) and two older people who are probably his parents.[2] With the same birth year and in the same place, but listed under the name Nelson Fuller, he appears in the Civil War draft registration lists.[3] He and wife Maranda appear again in Bangor in the 1870 census[4], under the name Fooler with wife named Marianda in the 1880 census now in Ogdensburg, St. Lawrence Co., NY[5] and in the 1900 census also in Ogdensburg, wife again called Maranda.[6]. She has a birth date of Feb 1836, and their marriage date is given as 1856. Thereafter there is no clear record of either of them.
A Miranda Sweet appears as mother of the groom in the marriage of Willis G. Fullor [sic], fathr of groom named as Nelson G. Fullor.[7]
