It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Amos by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Amos:

Sweet-4622 and Sweet-230 appear to represent the same person because: It's clear these profiles are of the same person but both have 'inverted' some of the data contained within its duplicate. For instance, Amos was probably born in Rhode Island as that's where his parents were born and died but one profile has him born in Berlin, N.Y. which is his death location in both profiles. Both have him married to the same woman but one profile has an extra wife although she doesn't appear to be sourced. I'll let the profile manager's figure out the children although some names overlap between both profiles which suggests further duplicates. Good luck and if you need help please ask either in G2G or email me although I'm a bit behind in answering my email.

Sweet-4671 and Sweet-4622 appear to represent the same person because: Represent the same person. Noah Sweet is most likely the son of Amos Sweet and Mercy Carpenter because named daughter Mercy Carpenter and had Kylar Sweet living with him in 1860

Sweet-4671 and Sweet-230 are not ready to be merged because: The children of one Amos Sweei born in Canada; the children of the other Amos Sweet born in NY. This may not be same person

Sweet-4671 and Sweet-230 appear to represent the same person because: Noah Sweet (proposed son of Amos Sweet) born in Canada 1802, and named a daughter Mercy Carpenter Sweet.
