Marriages
Oliver Arnold Wightman was her first husband. Their daughter, Ann Marcy Wightman, was born in 1825. Six months after her birth, in the Providence Patriot & Columbian Phenix on Wednesday, Nov 02, 1825, (Vol 23, Issue 88, Page 3) Oliver took out an ad stating Ann Sweet had left his bed and board, and he would no longer pay her debts. Ann Sweet Wightman Vaughn died 19 February 1877, in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. Her probate, case 674, [2] leaves her estate to her only child, Ann Marcy Wightman.
