Private Godfrey Sweet served with 6th Regiment, Albany County Militia, New York Militia during the American Revolution.

Godfrey was born before 1760. [1]He was the son of Caleb G. Sweet and Isabel Sherman. [2] He married Lucy Babcock. Their children were:

He began receiving in 1795 a pension for his service in the American Revolution.[3]

He passed away about 1810.
