Birth & Upbringing: Row was born in Salisbury in 1959.
Education: He was schooled near Bulawayo at Plumtree Boys High School. [1] .
Occupation: Policeman - joined the BSA Police in June 1977; Reg. No. 10093; served until June 1978. He was posted to Umtali Central station.
Demise: KIA - contact with terrorists while serving as a Patrol Officer with Duty Uniform Branch in Buhera TTL (Operation Thrasher). [2] [3].
Burial:Roy Swemmer was buried at Warren Hills Cemetery on 8 June 1978 following a private funeral ceremony. [4]
