Biography

Tunis Swick was born on the 4th of November, 1833 in New York. His parents were Minor M. Swick and Louisa LaTourette.

He immigrated to Oregon and was living there by 1860 with his family.

He married Margaret Rebecca Gilmore on the 30th of June, 1861 in Yamhill, Oregon.

Together they had three children, Lyman Dewey, William Marion and Martha Myrtle Swick.

Tunis passed away on the 11th of March, 1907 in Wasco, Sherman, Oregon.
