Clyde Swift is a part of US Black heritage.

Clyde was born about 1903. She is the daughter of Willis Swift and Janie White. In 1910, the family was living in Homer, Banks, Georgia.^[1]

In the 1920 census Clyde (age 18) was in Ashburn, Turner, Georgia,living with an aunt and uncle, Mamie and John Hall, along with her siblings.^[2]
